Textbroker is a company that mediates between writers and clients. You can register as an author at this site and after you confirm your email address, you will submit a short article. Once you submit your article, you will be rated. You can register here: http://www.textbroker.com/us/author-signup.php

Once your article is rated, you will receive a star level meaning that you can choose from articles at your rating or higher. You are paid per article and the pay is determined by the client. When you go to assignments, there will be different categories to choose from. One you choose a topic, you can view it and it will tell you what the client is asking for and how much you will be paid. Topics are located under the assignment tab. If you choose not to write on the topic you opened, you can always return it.
You must make $10.00 before you can cash out and payout is once a week to Paypal.
You can find the payment information in the FAQ section. There is ALOT of helpful information in the FAQ section so be sure to read through it thoroughly.
Sometimes there are a lot of topics to choose from, sometimes it is slim pickings.

Swagbucks is a great search engine. You can use Swagbucks instead of Google and earn as you search. I use my Swag Bucks for Amazon gift cards but there are many other gift cards/gifts you can get. You are awarded Swag Bucks randomly throughout the day when you search the web using Swagbucks. 

Mturk

Mturk, short for Amazon Mechanical Turk is a great work at home job for those who needs lots of flexibility. With Mturk, you can work when you want and for how long you want. The pay may seem low as you look through hits but it adds up quicker than you think.
 

Visit Mturk.com and start an account. 

Browse through the different hits. There are literally thousands of different hits. Some are easy, some are difficult. Some pay well, others don't.

Try out different hits. You will enjoy some and absolutely hate others. Find hits that you are able to complete quickly which will help you make more money. Some hits pay very little, such as .02 but if you can do them fast, it adds up. Keep track of how much you make for each hit and how long you worked that hit. This way you can figure out which hits are most profitable for you. 

To try a hit, click on view hit in this group. Once the hit opens up, click on accept hit. If the hit seems impossible, return the hit.

Some hits require you to have qualifications. The easiest way to start is to search out surveys which pay a little more than regular hits.

Note: 

Your earnings are held for the first 10 days. At the end of the ten days, all of the money you have earned will be paid to you.

You must have a minimum of 10 dollars in your account before you can transfer it to your bank.

You will be limited the first week or so to 90-100 hits but after that week, the sky is the limit.      

Some hits are better than others, it will take time to find your niche and what works best for you.
